Buckwheat: Despite the name, buckwheat is not a wheat, not a grain - it is a berry. Buckwheat is also a very low glycemic food, meaning it won't cause a spike in blood sugar when eaten, which can aggravate or potentiate ailments like canine diabetes. Buckwheat contains magnesium, which relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow and nutrient delivery.

SeaVeg: With its ability to scavenge heavy metals from the body, sea vegetables (also known as bladderwrack or rockweed) help protect dogs from illness.

Ginger: This root is known to alleviate joint and gland inflammation and aid in digestion. 

Parsley: In addition to freshening breath, parsley is high in Vitamin K which has been shown to reduce tumor formation in animals.
