Sweet Lounge is a pet bed and a scratcher that is made of 33% recycled content cardboard sandwiched between hardboard end-panels made of compressed secondary wood product. The pet beds have an extra large scratching surface area that start off as a cardboard scratching surface. Over the period of 1-2 years with everyday use, the corrugated cardboard surface will become softer, slowly transforming into an ergonomically correct bed. The hardboard end-panels insure that the overall sculptural shape and clean lines will be maintained. At the end of its life, the beds are entirely recyclable!

Beyond its ecologically friendly qualities, the Sweet Lounge is a sculptural yet functional modern furniture piece. It’s exposed corrugate offers cats an enticing surface that fulfill their instinctual need to scratch, while its aesthetic qualities and natural colors promise not to clash with one’s current décor.
