My dog goes to doggie daycare, plays with other dogs, and is out in the rain a lot, so her old collar got mildew-y and smelly. Even machine washes didn't help get rid of the smell. I bought the Tilden collar and leash about 3 months ago and I really love them both. At first I thought the collar was a bit stiff, but it does soften up a little bit over time. The best part is that it simply wipes clean when it gets dirty and never smells. The leash is great too, it has great grip and it doesn't get soaking when we take our dog for a walk in the rain. I'd really recommend this if you're looking for an easy to clean collar that won't get smelly when it gets wet.
